Been a while but man it just gets better and better! Owners are the best people. Food is fantastic and well worth the brief wait for its fresh preparation. This isn't FAST food, people. Highly recommend bean dip w green salsa, pupusas, and carnitas. Shrimp con huevas came to the table steaming hot and perfectly prepared w generous portions. Prepare to bring home a to go box. THANKS for another wonderful meal!
Also there is talk of a possible dinner schedule to added. Stay tuned to yelp. -

Wow, just WOW. If you haven't been here, you're seriously missing out on possibly the BEST Mexican food you'll ever eat!
The main reason I hadn't been here was because I'm usually off after they close so getting dinner here has been impossible since they close at 4pm.
Now that I've had it, I've went 2 days in a row! Well they're closed Tuesday so it's not technically 2 days in a row if I go Monday and Wednesday, right?!
So far I've had Asada fries, an Al Pastor wet burrito and a bite of some tacos. In general everything is very flavorful, hearty and amazing. So far I prefer the asada as the steak was super tender and hardly any fat. Al pastor inherently has fat because of it being pig but it was still super meaty and flavorful. I had a bite of my wifes chicken tacos and noticed the shredded chicken was seasoned very well & wasn't dry.
I'm not normally a fan of beans but their beans are seasoned well. The rice is tasty and buttery. They add grilled onions and have other grilled veggies that pack a lot of flavor.
So far we have only gotten food to go but we have experienced like 4 different salsas/sauces. All of them have different flavor and spice profiles. Their pico is very fresh & mild. Their fire roasted salsa looks like it's super hot but it's super rich in smokiness and heat, almost like a stew. We also had a pretty spicy avocado based green salsa and almost like a chimichurri salsa that was also medium spicy.
When my family and I ate this food, we could feel the love and preparation put into it. Everything we ate had all of the feels: hearty & comforting while also being fresh & spicy. We also felt the food coma afterwards!
After talking to the the main chef, him and his wife are the owners. They are working on opening up for dinner hours, which would be amazing! I can honestly say this is some of the best food I've ever ate and is worth the trip to Guadalupe. -

We arrived at noon. There were two other tables already eating. I was looking forward to lunch based on past reviews.
The chips were over cooked but the salsa and other items that arrived were okay.
The prices were a tad high, no luncheon specials and no lunch menu. We tried the taco (al pastor) and enchilada with rice and beans.
The beans had a great flavor, the rice forgettable. The taco was extremely greasy and fell apart. The enchilada was tasty.
Except for ordering and receiving the check we never saw the server.
I can only give this three stars. -

This place is a hidden gem in Guadalupe. Wonderful service and the food is great. Homemade tortillas and when we ordered salsa that they ran out at 2pm, they made it to order! Above and beyond to make a single table happy.
We would highly recommend the Chile Verde. -

To start off the food is bomb, no matter what you order. When you come in you get tortilla chips and salsa, pico de Gallo and refried beans as options for dip.
Last time we went I ordered a enchilada, taco and Chile relleno combination plate. You choose your meat for your taco and enchilada and enjoy the magic they serve on your plate. Whether you are a fan of soft or crunchy tacos, I say if you get a taco here, soft is the only option as it comes on a homemade tortilla made by the mom in the back. ( Did I mention this is a family owned business?)
My fiancé ( aka my dining companion) ordered the special, costillas de puerco. If you come in a day when this is an option, just order it. It comes in a delicious red sauce that has more savory spice flavor than spicy. I swear you will want to mix your rice and beans in that sauce and just eat it with a tortilla.( I personally ate it off a spoon at one point, it's that good)
Overall, if you are near Guadalupe dunes or want to have a nice meal as a pit stop in your drive, come here for the best Mexican food in the central coast.
